Shoos and shoes

2001-08-30

We just had the second fire alarm in 11 hours. The first one really wasn't bad, when you consider I had to wander out after just pulling on a pair of shorts. The temperature was good.

It's starting to rain. :)

I'm getting a blister on my hand from working with my sword so much. It's kind of painful, but not really in a bad way.

I've decided that I'm going to password my computer. At the very start, I told Demetrick not to download any programs without asking me. Two days ago I had to delete some piece of shit called "Hotbar" that makes your browser more decorative. I don't want my browser to be decorative. Today, I noticed that he downloaded some Flash editor. That's two. I can take one as a mistake, but two, after being warned, is something that I'm just not going to let slide. So, things are getting passworded.

Plus, it's just really annoying to click on history to try to find something I went to earlier and have to sort through at least five different porn sites before I find things.

I've been reading more of "Shogun" today. It's a pretty good book, actually. I like it. :)

I have just decided what would be the perfect kind of shoe for me. Something with a thin and flexible sole and a reinforced toe. I think I could probably make a comfy ugly-as-sin pair if I took up leatherworking. :) And no laces! Straps that went around the ankle would be more than sufficient to keep it on, plus wouldn't keep getting undone every three minutes.

I'm leaving now.
