She and I talked today. It was so awkward. All I wanted to say was "I love you and miss you" but I knew that it would only cause some pain and drive her farther away. I want to be her friend again. I don't want to have this awkwardness between us anymore.

On the bright side, though, I may go trick or treating tonight. Free candy for dressing up funny! Hell, I'm in luck!
